Customer Termination Policy
NexxLevel Bookkeeping & Tax Services LLC
This Customer Termination Policy governs the termination of services between NexxLevel Bookkeeping & Tax Services LLC (“NexxLevel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By engaging NexxLevel’s services, the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. TERMINATION BY CLIENT (30-DAY NOTICE REQUIRED)
Clients may terminate services only by providing written notice of termination.
Notice Requirements
A minimum of thirty (30) days written notice is required.
Notice must be submitted via:
Email to nexxlevelbookkeeping@gmail.com, or
Written correspondence delivered to NexxLevel
Verbal requests or informal messages do not constitute valid termination notice.
2. SERVICES DURING NOTICE PERIOD
Upon receipt of proper termination notice:
NexxLevel will continue providing services during the 30-day notice period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Standard monthly fees remain due and payable.
Any additional work requested during this period may be billed separately.
3. FINAL INVOICE & PAYMENT OBLIGATION
At the conclusion of the 30-day notice period, NexxLevel will issue a final invoice, which may include:
Remaining monthly service fees
Work performed during the notice period
Cleanup, reconciliation, or transition work
Administrative or offboarding time
Outstanding balances or unpaid invoices
Third-party software, payroll, or filing fees incurred
Final invoices are due immediately upon receipt.
4. FAILURE TO PROVIDE 30-DAY NOTICE
If a Client terminates services without providing the required 30-day written notice, NexxLevel reserves the right to:
Bill the Client an amount equal to one full month of service fees, and
Suspend the release of records or deliverables until payment is received in full.
5. RELEASE OF RECORDS & DATA
Client financial records, reports, and files will be released only after all outstanding balances and final invoices are paid in full.
NexxLevel may retain copies of working papers, internal records, and required compliance documentation as permitted by law.
NexxLevel is not responsible for delays in record release caused by unpaid balances or incomplete offboarding instructions.
6. THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE & SUBSCRIPTIONS
Clients are responsible for managing, transferring, or canceling any third-party subscriptions (e.g., accounting software, payroll platforms, filing services) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
NexxLevel is not responsible for fees charged by third-party providers after termination.
7. EARLY TERMINATION OF FIXED-TERM AGREEMENTS
If services are provided under a fixed-term or annual agreement:
Early termination does not waive payment obligations for services rendered.
NexxLevel reserves the right to invoice for remaining contracted services unless otherwise stated in the engagement agreement.
8. TERMINATION BY NEXXLEVEL
NexxLevel may terminate services immediately, with or without notice, if:
Client fails to pay invoices timely
Client provides inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information
Client engages in abusive, unethical, or unlawful conduct
Continued service exposes NexxLevel to legal, regulatory, or reputational risk
Client fails to cooperate or provide required documentation
A final invoice will be issued upon termination.
9. NO REFUNDS
All fees paid are non-refundable, including setup fees, monthly service fees, retainers, and tax preparation fees, regardless of termination timing.
